AfriVet Veterinary Clinic

I am a veterinary surgeon, and I love being a veterinary surgeon. I am not an administrator and I dislike doing administration immensely. So I was doing less of what I liked and more of what I didn't like. The last straw for me was the new data protection act (GDPR). I spent 8 hours reading 45 pages of government supplied information on the subject and realized I was none the wiser, and I needed help. So I approached all of the different corporates, and settled on Medivet because they have agreed to let me continue as Afrivet, doing what we do because they could see that we were doing it well. So the only changes to us as a business are predominantly back-office changes. The only visible change to Afrivet is the banking and card machine which now asks for financial support for a sanctuary for Rhinos in South Africa. I am happy to recommend this charity for a species which is in serious decline due to poaching.
