All solid wood planks are milled straight from the tree and not engineered into a constructed board which gives a true natural floor. Solid Wood floors can be sanded and re-sealed many times, which adds to their appeal and to their long life. There are solid floors that are well over 100 years old and are still in good condition when maintained. A Solid Wood floor can be either fully glued or nailed to a wooden sub-floor or batten. All flooring are finished with the highest quality of hardwearing sealants; gloss, satin or matt. Finishes in wax oils are also available.
