APM WALKER Building Services is owned and managed by Alex Walker, originally from Pulborough but now living in Billingshurst. Alex started in the building trade as a general labourer working for a builder of barn conversions. His ability and potential were soon realised and was given the chance to shadow many local tradesmen and skilled builders, learning invaluable skills and methods that could only be gained on-site. It was this opportunity and a keen interest in both traditional and modern methods of building that enabled Alex to pursue a career as a builder.

After 3 years of employment as a general builder, Alex spent 18 months learning the art of plastering, working alongside a well respected local West Sussex plasterer. With all this experience Alex soon realised that it was time to establish his own business. Offering the people of Pulborough, Billingshurst, Petworth, Horsham and surrounding towns and villages his expertise as an all round general builder.
