Aves Optometrists

Polly Dulley has been announced the winner of a prestigious national award in recognition of her services to optics. Run by the Association of Optometrists (AOP), the AOP awards recognise the highest levels of achievement in UK optics. Polly was named the winner in the Optometrist of the Year category during an awards dinner held in Birmingham. Sponsored by Topcon, this award recognises the optometrist who has gone above and beyond the sight test routine in order to deliver excellent patient care, combining clinical expertise with outstanding people skills.

Commenting on the accolade, Polly said: I feel totally overwhelmed to win this award. To be nominated by my peers and voted for, by both my fellow professionals and my own patients, feels just amazing. We are delighted to announce the arrival of the Ocular Coherence Tomographer (OCT), ground-breaking new equipment that enables us to take a 3D retinal scan of your eyes.
