In April 2011 we opened our fourth site, Basingstoke Value Tyres, in response to growing customer requests for budget tyres due to the recession. In Spring 2012, we opened a new Value Tyres Centre in Farnborough, followed by another Value Tyre Centre in Thatcham early 2015. Most garages charge over £45 for MOT test’s and may offer you free items such as wiper blades and light bulbs, but why pay an extra £15 - £20 per MOT when you probably don’t need wiper blades or light bulbs – why not just pay for what you need? Currently 1 in 6 cars require a light bulb, 1 in 12 require a wiper blade or small adjustment. It's cheaper to pay only for what you need or what your car requires. There are many benefits of being a multi-site independent, not being tied to any one supplier and being able to change supplier if prices rise, not having to run hugely expensive TV advertising campaigns so passing on the savings to you the customer.
