Established in 1983 as Bates & Co under the chairmanship of Harry Bates, the firm subsequently became BCL Accountants when acquiring the London practice of Chapman Longley. The practice converted to a Limited Company in 2002 under the chairmanship of the managing director, Chris Nunn, who joined the practice in 1993. The practice prides itself on a wealth of expertise gained in industry as well as the profession.
