Beauty By Bernie

Bernie began her career as a trainee manager in the wholesale food and drink industry. She took a career break to study a BA in Home Economics between 1982-1985, on graduating she became involved in retail management for a large high street chain, moving up into area sales management. A complete career change came about in 1992 when Bernie retrained at Stockport college of technology, cheshire, to become a beauty therapist, qualifying in 1993. On moving to the south of England, she ran a successful salon and mobile business, but continued to add to her qualifications in both beauty and holistic therapies. On returning to the north of England in 1997, Bernie gained further beauty experience working within the leisure and health spa industry. She established Beauty By Bernie as a mobile business in February 1994, and as a beauty therapist has introduced many new beauty treatments and products over the years.
