Belle Epoque

Despite 3am starts to scrabble for bargains in the dark, hauling enormous wardrobes to 3rd floor bedrooms and doing the never-ending admin this is so much better than a real job! We’re a little obsessive about it all to be honest and we’re often found in the evening watching a spot of Bargain Hunt whilst painting stock and keeping an eye on eBay…As a married couple, working together hasn’t always been easy but having pushed through the teething problems (and egos!) we have settled into our own roles. Matt is definitely the technical, business, restoring, rebuilding, lifting, delivering and money man. I just buy pretty things. Compulsively.If you’re ever passing we hope that you’ll pop in and say hello – we’ve been known to put the kettle on and break out the biscuits for particularly lovely visitors.
