Debbie is head of our private client department and has over 20 years’ experience in private client work, specialising in wills and probate.Debbie gained an honours degree in law from Staffordshire University then completed her Legal Practice Course at the University of the West of England, Bristol (UWE). She then took her Professional Skills Course at UWE and St Lloyes College, Exeter.Debbie has been working in this area and at this firm since before she qualified as a solicitor in 2001. Debbie started work at the firm as a filing clerk/legal assistant in 1997 and then progressed to a training contract after which she qualified as a solicitor. She became a salaried partner in 2009.In particular Debbie deals with wills, probate, intestacies, powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters and related conveyancing. She also deals with informal change of name deeds for adults.
