Having worked in the optics industry for various companies, Jim has been able to bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to Bottomleys. Jim’s experience, alongside the cutting edge facilities at Bottomleys enable us to give you high quality, premium eye care.Jim took over the practice from his father when John chose to relocate to the island of Tiree on Scotland’s West Coast — where he has since set up another opticians practice in the Bottomley group!Bottomley Opticians is proud to be the only third generation family practice offering clinical excellence including OCT in the town centre. We also take pleasure in being a valued part of the local community. That’s why, when we needed to move to bigger premises several years ago, it felt so fitting that we relocated to the building that once housed Halifax’s town hall.As Managing Director of the business, Jim is committed to continuing the dedication to high quality care and personal service his father and grandfather established. He also works in practice dispensing glasses and giving customers the premium services that Bottomley Opticians love to provide.
