Barrie Smith is the proprietor of BPS, founded in 2010 following a successful career in private surveying, architectural practices and significant spells in the education and university sectors. He holds a NEBOSH certificate in health and safety, a BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB).

Barrie strongly believes that all clients deserve a personal, polished, high standard of service. This is delivered through clear, honest advice given to all involved in the project including the client, statutory authorities and contractors. During his many years in the construction industry Barrie has proven his leadership and arbitrary skills on many occasions, thereby providing a first class service that all clients expect.
