Bronsens Chartered Accountants

Our firm has been a reassuring presence in Oxfordshire for more than 100 years. Founded in 1891, we grew quickly to become an established major accounting practice under the name of William Bayliss & Co. in Oxford. Following various practice changes and mergers over the century, we became Bronsens in 1992. Having established the trusted Bronsens brand we then acquired offices in Chipping Norton, Witney and formed a company to provide payroll and bookkeeping services. In 2008 we were invited to join a nationwide alliance of high quality firms of accountants known as The CharterGroup. By joining this exclusive group it allowed us to share expertise and ideas amongst other well respected firms. This gave us access to resources usually associated with much larger firms whilst still maintaining the personal touch of a smaller firm. Then in 2009 we recognised a gap in the market for a firm of Independent Financial Advisers to be attached to a firm of Chartered Certified Accountants and so we formed Bronsens Financial Services Limited. Our clients have benefited massively from this new service.
