Buckingham Playgroup

Buckingham Playgroup is a small, friendly charity-run playgroup which has been caring for children from the Adur area for over forty years. We have an excellent reputation within the local community, supported by complementary formal reports from Ofsted. The secret of our success lies in providing a warm and sociable welcome for all children, parents/carers, and a fun approach to childcare, backed up by a professional attitude to the management and organisation of the playgroup.

Our main focus is to ensure that children attending the playgroup have lots of fun, are safe and happy. They are free to choose from a wide variety of stimulating activities, toys and can play independently or join in with a group. The playgroup promotes a healthy lifestyle offering indoor and outdoor play throughout the morning, and a choice of physical pursuits. There are also a number of activities which the children take part in together, such as story time, song time and healthy snack time.
