Buzzsolomoto

The company name Buzzsolomoto came about partly from Antonys nickname, Buzz, and from the spanish motor magazine 'solomoto' meaning literally 'only scooters'. Being able to speak fluent Spanish helped a great deal and enabled Buzz to meet the locals and find out more about Spain and Italy, the people, their culture and how they like to do business. Contacts were slowly built up and friendships made,and before long various people were sourcing scooters that he could collect and transport back to Blighty on a regular basis. Initially the scooters bieng brought in were sold on as complete bikes. Some of the straighter ones being restored by Buzz himself with the help of friends and fellow scoopter club members, some of the rougher ones getting stripped down and the parts sold seperately. Kev Walsh and his L.C.G.B. parts fairs, and the national rallies proved a great place to sell the scooters and parts and soon family and friends alike were recruited to help out. The small stall was soon licked into shape and before long was growing rapidly, running smoother and stocking an ever wider selection of parts both new and second hand.
