Cakes by Shelly is a small yet well established family run cake company based in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. Formed by Shelly Shulman in April 2006, Cakes by Shelly specialises in bespoke couture cakes for all occasions. Her love for baking and sugar craft skills has ensured her place as Bedfordshire's leading cake designer.

Shelly's passion for cake decorating began at an early age when she used to sit and watch her grandmother make wedding cakes and her mother make birthday cakes for her and her sister. Her natural talent shone through leading to a flurry of orders from family and friends. With a gentle nudge in the right direction, Shelly turned her creativity into a career gaining on the way a City and Guilds qualification in Design for Craft and Sugar Decoration.
