Cakes Nouveaux

Cakes Nouveaux is a small team of talented cake makers and decorators based in the seaside town of Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Our main designer and creator of these wonderful cakes is Julie Springall. Julie has 20 years experience in all aspects of sugarcraft and has worked at the internationally renowned Jane Asher Party Cakes in Chelsea, London. As Head Decorator, she designed and created cakes for public, royalty, pop and film celebrities, society balls, T.V and media events, charities and corporate functions. Julie has since worked for Imaginative Icing of York and Scarborough as their head of department, creating many new and innovative cakes for weddings and celebrations in many different styles; traditional, contemporary, fun/fantasy/novelty, and is competent in ALL sugarcraft techniques. Julie has also co-authored 2 sugar craft books demonstrating how to create her own designs, Contemporary Wedding Cakes and Classic and Contemporary Christmas Cakes.
