I am a professionally trained horticulturist and have successfully passed a 3 year course where I covered subjects such as soil sciences and agricultural engineering; plant production; food and dairy sciences; agricultural economics and social sciences; agricultural chemistry and biotechnology. Also horticultural subjects such as plant management, garden planning, garden surveying techniques and garden design principles. Principles of plant growth, health and applied propagations. Use of landscaping elements and garden and urban plantings. Understanding the production of outdoor vegetables and fruits and understanding the protected environments and their uses in plant cultivation.
