2018 marked a milestone for Camtech Systems as we celebrated our 15 year anniversary as a leading UK supplier for true rugged mobile hardware. We’ve witnessed a technology evolution first-hand over the last decade and a half as the power and portability increased to what is now standard in current gen technology. All made conceivable from generations of upgrades in manufacturer hardware and usability from improvements in user friendly and familiar operating system software. These improvements would be a non-entity if our key first-line support wasn’t kept at the forefront of our services and we strongly believe this is why Camtech have kept an existing customer base engaged and why we fully expect to continue for the foreseeable future. The upcoming years will be very exciting in terms of new mobile technology. Xplore, Panasonic, DuraBook and others will be at the forefront as manufactures develop new faster low powered CPUs, ground breaking mobile connectivity (as the UK develops it’s new 5G network technology), longer running batteries and more shock resistant ruggedness as the weight of the traditional Tablet PC reduces. Not to take away anything from our current range of business Tablet PCs, these units are certainly built for now and built to last.
