All our meals are cooked to order in spotless kitchens and preparation rooms.Capels fish and chip restaurant is located in a Victorian structure built in 1899. The first owner was Lord Clinton of Clinton Devon Estates. It is known to have been a fish cafe†since 1949 – possibly before – and was purchased by Emma Amelia Capel in 1956 for £4,000.Today, Capels is the only fish and chip shop in Exmouth with its own restaurant and currently employs several full and part-time staff who work hard to produce high-quality food.
