Just on the outskirts of Gravesend in Kent, there has been a church in Chalk for well over a thousand years and it would be lovely to welcome you in person one day. We have associations both literary and biographical with Charles Dickens and we are also popular for weddings, baptisms (also often called christenings) and other important family events. At our best I hope that we offer more than just a lovely and historic wedding venue! We are certainly not perfect but I hope that we are at least trying to make everyone welcome.
