Chantal Mallett Bridal Couture

Chantal Mallett is one of the UK's leading designers & has been creating one-off wedding gowns for clients since 1996. Since the brand's inception, corsetry, colour & 'alternative', individual & unique designs have been the Chantal Mallett signature. Working one to one with clients, Chantal creates all the Couture gowns & accessories herself, always delivering outstanding quality & excellent service. When I first graduated from studying Fashion Design, I met with buyers & designers at various bridal shops in London to get a measure of where I fitted within the industry.

Liberty's where particularly keen on my work & sponsored me to create a gown for their 1994 Valentines Bridal Show. Talking to the Liberty buyer & getting to know a little of the mass market side of the industry, I knew that to enter the world of mass market would be to water down my ideas & 'create' to a lower standard.
