Charlabelle Childminding

My name is Rebecca Corlett (Becks) and I'm an Ofsted registered childminder, based in Chells, Stevenage.

When I left University, I worked as a Care Assistant at a Nursing Home before getting a job with a membership organisation, working with teachers (primary and secondary) and technicians, supporting members in the aim of improving the quality of the teaching of science to children. As well as working with companies involved in science education e.g providers of educational resources, examination boards etc.

After having my first daughter, Charlotte, I went back to the office part-time and so understand the importance of good quality childcare as well as experiencing firsthand the anxieties that parents go through when you entrust your child to someone else's care. I then gave up my job after having my second daughter, Isabelle. Although my employment history has been mostly working with adults I have spent a lot of my time around children.
