Hello, my name is Katie. My love of animals started at a very early age and ever since I can remember I have petted, loved, cared and been responsible for so many animals from bunnies to dogs and from cats to horses, whether they belong to me or someone else. There are many a photograph of me curled up as a child beside a friend's dog or even sat in the straw cuddling a horse and telling them all my problems. They are the best listeners!

In more recent years, my in-laws wanted help with their numerous horses and, from past experience, I knew there were lots people wanting to be around these amazing animals who would welcome the opportunity to pet, groom and care for them.

An advert in a local publication provided more help then was ever envisaged. I never imagined that I could help everyone in a similar position!

The school gates provided a moment of realisation when I was approached by so many of the school parents about my current dog, Bailey. Free help and assistance was offered should I ever need it. So many people comment to me about how much they would love to spend time with him as they love dogs but were not able to have a full time pet due to their work and life commitments. Bailey further highlighted how many children love animals and would love the opportunity to stroke and cuddle them before and after schools on most days.

My life has been considerably improved by animals I've had the pleasure to know and be around. I wanted to give other people / families in our pet loving nation the opportunity to share the happiness I have had looking after the animals in my life.
