You may be liable for damage to the property at the end of the tenancy if the property is not returned to the landlord in a similar condition as when rented out, any damages can be claimed from your deposit. *A holding fee will be retained where a tenant provides false or misleading information which we can reasonably consider when deciding to let a property - this can include a tenants behaviour in providing false or misleading information, failing a right to rent check, withdrawing from a property, failing all reasonable steps to enter into a tenancy agreement and the landlord or agent taking all reasonable steps to do so.
