David Ward Walton

I have over 35 years experience in Consulting, Marketing, Advertising and Business. I'm based in Penarth, South Wales and speak good Welsh as well as fluent French and Spanish. I started out in Marketing for Lyons Tetley as Product Manager for Lyons Ground Coffees, before moving into Advertising with Foote Cone and Belding as an Account Director on Colgate Palmolive. I then joined Saatchi and Saatchi where I was promoted to Board Director and then Group Account Director.

My accounts included Proctor and Gamble, Mars, Department of Employment and the RAC among many others. As Director of Saatchi and Saatchi Strategy, I specialised in working with business startups. I then set up my own marketing consultancy, Walton Evans. A client, GTECH invited me to join them, first as European Marketing Director, and then as Vice President for Television.
