Deafway

We are a UK registered charity with a history going back to 1894. Founded and still working in Lancashire (in the north of England) and in other parts of the UK, our work now extends as far as Kathmandu in Nepal, Nkozi in Uganda and Yala in Kenya. Objectives and Activities: Deafway is established for the relief o people who are D/deaf* or who suffer from communication disorders. Firstly for those resident in Lancashire and secondly those resident in the rest of the United Kingdom and elsewhere, in particular by assisting and supporting their equal access to and participation in all aspects of society.
