Do Ashtanga Yoga

I started learning the Ashtanga yoga asana series in 1993 and was introduced to the pranayama series in 1999. I started teaching in 2001 after receiving the direct authorisation of the yoga master Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (1915-2009) to pass on the Ashtanga yoga method. Less than 150 teachers worldwide hold the distinction of being directly authorized by Pattabhi Jois. I am registered with the Independent Yoga Network as a Yoga Elder and the Yoga Alliance at the E-500 level. This is the highest level of accreditation for both organisations. I am currently completing an MA in Indian Spiritual Traditions and have studied Anatomy and Physiology and Sanskrit since graduation.
