Dysart School Of Dance

Before deciding to teach, Kim danced professionally for P & O Princess Cruises, Thompson Holidays and Stageworks Worldwide Productions. She also had the good fortune to work alongside their various choreographers during the creation of their numerous productions. In January 1997, Kim took over the running of the Dysart School of Dance from its founder. The school has grown to around 220 pupils, some of whom have gone on to full time vocational dance colleges & universities and then on to dance professionally. Kim now holds the ISTD Diploma in Dance Education for Imperial Ballet, National, Tap and Modern Theatre, and is now an associate of the IDTA. Kim has a DBS certificate, a chaperone license for children in theatre and is trained in first aid. She is delighted to have been joined by Antonia Bennett, who teaches the Street dance classes on a Monday evening.
