EK Motor Factors

Started in 1965. Eric Kitchen with his small van, by day visited the local vehicle repairers (car & commercial). Picked up their worn out brake shoes, went back to his very modest workshop, where at night he would replace the brake linings. The next day he would return with the finished article. EK Brakes was in business. Over a period of time, people would ask Eric if he could get various other spare parts to make their work quicker and easier. Eric could and did. EK Motor Factors was born. With over 40 years trading, EK Motor Factors Ltd has become known to our customers simply as EK's.

We now operate a fleet of over 50 vans, delivering fom our Lancaster, Kendal, Blackpool and Barrow branch warehouses. Offering an unparelled delivery service of over 170 delivery runs in any one day from our four branches. EK's is now spearheaded by Managing Director Anthony Kitchen, taking on new products and sourcing new suppliers where and when necessary to supply and support our ever growing customer needs.
