Emotions In Vision Photography

There are several versions of this phrase of course; including a "picture is worth a thousand words." However, whether this is a Chinese proverb or not is certainly open to debate. The point is that when we observe things, we see images of the world that permeate all aspects of our life.

Photography is a creative outlet that enables me to capture the moods, expressions and colours of our dynamic planet and its inhabitants. My first venture into the world of photography was when I was working in Tuscany. I soon became entranced by the infinitely various and varying colours of the Tuscan landscape, just as Leonardo da Vinci had experienced as a child in the hills surrounding his birthplace. Armed with a digital camera, I set off on a journey of discovery around this beautiful region, delighting in capturing the sunlight, a crumbling tower or a moment in time.
