The Employability Forum is looking at the whole question of migration and the world of work in the UK. My family and many others were forced to leave their homeland and we came to this country as refugees. We brought our education, our experience and our know-how with us, and we wanted to make a real contribution as new citizens.
Migrants come to the UK for many different reasons: to study, to make a new life, to start a business or for family reasons. How we manage migration is crucial for the future of this country, Europe and the wider world.
