Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy used to diagnose, treat and prevent a wide range of both acute and chronic conditions. Osteopathy is a therapy based on the principle that the well-being of an individual is dependent on the skeletal system, muslces, joints and connective tissues functioning perfectly together, in order to prevent dysfunction and therefore, pain. The structure and function of the body are believed to be directly related and so, one cannot function at its best without the other doing so.
