Frippery comes from the Old French word 'freperie'- an indulgence, adornment, bauble, fandangle, finery, fluff, frivolity, trifle and trinket. Today, it's a modern boudoir and lifestyle boutique offering a unique shopping experience.
Started six years ago by friends Clare and Kim, we offer an ever-changing range of products, for you and your home, both online and in our store in the heart of Colchester. Opened in May 2008 we have recently doubled our retail space to accommodate new product lines and our growing Vintage range.
