In the early part of his career, Antony worked on a specialist nursery in Holland to learn about growing trees and shrubs then took time out to travel the world with his friend Nigel Marven assisting in the production of wildlife documentaries for the BBC. With a keen interest in architecture and design, setting up a garden design business seemed the natural evolution from growing plants and retail, so in 1992 Gardensforlife was born! Since then Antony has worked on many amazing garden projects for prestigious clients, one of his favourite projects was a stunning Japanese water feature for Sir Paul McCartney. While designing gardens he worked on many TV and radio garden shows including BBC Gardeners world in 1996-97 and ‘Roots and shoots’ for HTV from 2002-2005 to name a few, sharing his expertise and enthusiasm for plants and gardens.
