All Rachel's early training in floristry was acquired within this Lancashire region; starting at the renowned Myerscough College, near Garstang and then progressing to teaching floristry and flower arranging. The latter was undertaken in the adult learning sectors of both Burnley and Accrington and Rossendale Colleges. This early experience has resulted in Garlands Florist (Rachel's business partnership with husband and musician, Simon), becoming one of the region's premier suppliers of Wedding Flowers, Corporate flowers, floral displays, bouquets, funeral tributes and venue displays for all occasions. Established for over 26 years in the Lancashire town of Oswaldtwistle, Garlands Florist is recognised as the place to go for every conceivable flower requirement. Wedding flowers feature prominently of course with an abundance of expert suggestions from Rachel. Add to this, displays for civil partnerships, pink weddings, anniversaries, birthdays corporate occasions - plus of course, decorations for the venues themselves — and this is a typical day in the life of Garlands!
