Gavin Chapman Photography

I was born in Eye, Suffolk in 1978 and the point when I knew I wanted to be a photographer is unusual. It was in London Zoo where I spent 2 frustrating hours in the tropical house with my little camera trying to take pictures of butterflies. I failed but left determined and inspired to succeed. I had found my calling and my passion for photography grew and grew.

Since then I have been developing my own style and become more and more immersed in my love affair with photography. I am inspired by everything from great cinema to people, nature wonderful light and the beautiful city in which i live.

When shooting I like to work in an enjoyable and comfortable environment. I believe in having a good time and being relaxed on set really makes the difference in getting amazing images that will love.
