A family business established in 1981, Granby Antiques is one of the oldest traders in Hill Road. The shop was started by Neville and Audrey Speight who had been previously trading from the Antiques Market in Clifton.
Granby Antiques was taken over by their daughter Julia helped by her husband Paul in 2000 and they continue to offer a personal service to all their customers in an atmosphere where the customer comes first and where you are always welcome to take your time, browse and buy.
he shop has undergone many changes in its lifetime, originally it had been part of a General Stores with what was the old Murrays Cafe next door.
It was also at one time a Dewhursts Butchers (certainly through WWII) and evidence of that can been seen in the Poole tiling which is exposed at the back of the shop.
Soon the shop will be entering a new chapter in its life, look out for exciting changes.
