The Gwydyr Hotel is a picturesque building, situated in the centre of Betws y Coed amidst charming scenery and overlooking the local village park. Guests from all over the world are attracted to Betws-y-Coed, which is a convenient centre from which all of Snowdonia and North Wales is accessible. For long and short holidays, leisure, walking, cycling and fishing breaks, the Gwydyr Hotel is a very special place to stay. The hotel offers 20 comfortable en suite bedrooms, a charming lounge bar and provides traditional bed and breakfast facilities with the advantage of a relaxed dining room for breakfast, lunch and evening meals for both residents and non residents. All ground floor rooms have roaring log fires for those cold gloomy days. We also have a separate pet friendly dining room for people who do not wish to part with their four legged friends. As you would expect, our service is friendly and attentive, the atmosphere relaxed and easy. Browse the weekend papers, cosey up to the log fire with a pint of real ale, order coffees and homemade cakes or relax with an afternoon cream tea, whichever you choose, you will be guaranteed a very warm welcome.
