Hallsannery House

Hallsannery is owned and managed by Charles and Hannah Evans, ably abetted by their enthusiastic sons, Toby, Barney and Josh. Hannah grew up at Hallsannery in the days when it was run by her family as a Field Studies Centre. She returned to her Devon roots in 2012 to take over the House, Coach House and gardens, allowing the previous owners to take a well-earned rest. From autumn of 2012, Hallsannery was closed for total refurbishment. Working with local architects Gale & Snowdon on this Grade 2 listed property, the Evans' family set about restoring the beautiful building to its former late Georgian / early Victorian glory.

Over the following 7 months, RCH Wilson builders (builder 'Bob' and his team) worked tirelessly, opening up the spaces, restoring period features and creating 11 sumptuous en suite bedrooms, whilst Source Renewable installed a bio mass boiler to provide a renewable energy heating source for the whole house.
