Hambys Shoes

Hamby's are a family run firm who are still an independent footwear retailer. The business was started on St. David's Day March 1st 1961 by my mother and father, Meryl and David Hamby. Originally the business was a credit drapers, supplying clothing, footwear, jewellery, furniture, carpets and decorating supplies to outlying villages around town.

Our first shoe shop opened in Chapeltown, Sheffield in 1973, the second being in Barnsley in 1979. Our Rotherham store has twice won awards having achieved first place in the 'Best Large Shop Category' in 2010 and was previously voted 'Best Town Centre Retail Business' in 2004.

We carry a large stock of quality footwear for ladies and gentlemen - the very best that British and European manufacturers have to offer. Should we not have the style you require in stock, we will do our utmost to obtain them for you. We also have a large selection of leather goods and handbags.
