Hartlepool Golf Club is situated on the North East Coast of England within sight and sound of the sea. Hartlepool hosted the Tall Ships Race during 2010. Hartlepool has easy access from A1 via A19. Major towns withins easy reach are Newcastle, Sunderland and Middlesbrough, York is also easily accessible.

From spring to autumn the course is ablaze with the colour of wild flowers. The area is well known to botanists and has been declared a Site of Special Scientific Interest by the Nature Conservancy Council.
