Health In Harmony

My interest in health and well-being has developed over the past 25 years as a Registered Nurse and Registered Sick Children's Nurse. Shortly after qualifying I realised that we are very often treating the impact of unhealthy living, keeping symptoms at bay. I became interested in ways to support our innate instinct to maintain our health at optimum levels.

After being involved in a relatively severe car accident I was left with physical neck and shoulder problems which needed treatment with medications. These treatments caused various other difficulties, including stomach problems and anaemia. After working with a variety of medical solutions for two years, I decided to take my fate into my own hands. I began to explore a range of Complementary therapies and found Aromatherapy really helped with my low mood. I fell in love with Yoga because it helped to put things back into perspective, as well as helping to re-gain strength in my arm and shoulder.
