My passion for photography started at Brunel University back in the 70's (flower-power days), where I studied mechanical engineering, fine art and photography. For many years engineering fed my body while photography continued to feed my spirit. I met and married my lovely and understanding wife Julie over 30 years ago and our two offspring (Thomas and Amy) have long since fled our nest. Many years ago I decided to become a full time professional photographer and my wedding and commercial photography experience now spans over thirty years.

I took my first wedding back in the 1970's using a twin lens reflex camera and B&W film. As a teenager I enjoyed painting in oils and find the recent developments in digital photography have given me a similar level of freedom to be creative. You may ask why after so many years am I still enjoying taking photographs and weddings. Well, I love the whole process of creating images.
