There are times when everyone feels overwhelmed or that they just can’t cope. One way of dealing with this is to speak with a professional counsellor — someone trained to listen and who can help you find a way through your problems. I am originally from Buckinghamshire but have lived in Somerset for over ten years. I came to counselling after working in business in London for some time, followed by some time as a secondary school teacher. I have been through counselling myself on more than one occasion (all good counsellors will have done) and those experiences helped me to deal with the difficulties that I have experienced in life. I know what it is like to be the client in need of help as well as the therapist who offers help.
