Osteopathic treatment is a form of manual medicine that complements orthodox medicine. Osteopaths are recognized for successful treatment of back pain but are not limited to this problem area. Osteopaths identify areas of tension throughout the body around the spine and other joints, as well as certain muscles. The treatments are just as effective in all parts of the body, from ankle pain to knees, hips, wrists, elbows and neck.
