Hoddam Contracting

Hoddam Contracting Co. Ltd operate two sand and gravel quarries in South of Scotland. Our head office is at Ecclefechan where we manufacture ready-mixed concrete, concrete blocks and all of the other concrete products on offer. Kilblane Quarry is based at Locharbriggs, on the outskirts of Dumfries. Kilblane Quarry was granted a licence in 1948 - with sand and gravel extracted to this day. Also manufactured at Kilblane is ready-mixed concrete. Broom Quarry is a sand and gravel operation located near Powfoot, Annan and was purchased by the company in the 1990s.
