I worked as a visual artist and independent curator in Kent, before moving to West Penwith in Cornwall in 2016.I began painting in 2011after a break of many years during which I had focused almost exclusively on a digital creative path, making original artworks, and short video films. I discovered that painting ofered a way of exploring my emotional relationship with the environment and landscape, particularly the moors and coastline of West Penwith in Cornwall: a post-industrial landscape with a unique geological legacy.
