Impact is a young and dynamic company bringing fresh-thinking, drive and motivation into public relations and marketing for our clients. The creative force behind Impact is Claire Thorburn. An NCTJ qualified Newspaper Journalist with an Honours degree in English, Claire has worked on a number of titles in Yorkshire and the North East and was personal assistant to child care guru and international best-selling author, Gina Ford. With over seven year’s media and marketing experience, she has accrued a wealth of contacts nationally and regionally in the print, publishing and broadcasting world. These include the BBC, The Daily Telegraph, The Times, The Sunday Times, Tyne Tees Television, BBC Radio Newcastle, Random House, Harper Collins, the Newcastle Evening Chronicle, The Journal, Sunderland Echo, Northern Echo, Yorkshire Weekly Newspaper Group, the North East and Tweeddale Press Group.
