At Independent Mortgage Associates, our friendly and experienced mortgage advisers understand that finding the right mortgage deal can be confusing. Our Hertfordshire based mortgage brokers will take the time to explain in simple terms how different types of mortgages work and will show you the latest rates, explain all the options and handle the application to the lender on your behalf. Originally part of the Independent Mortgage Advice Bureau, which has operated in Hemel Hempstead since 2000, we have now expanded, and in August 2013 we opened a new office in Berkhamsted, rebranding to Independent Mortgage Associates shortly after.
In 2014 we launched our London office, with meetings by appointment only. The Mortgage Market Review (MMR) has now taken place and affected some of the lender's criterias, their procedures and the service they provide. However, as we have always given mortgage advice, the MMR has not altered the way we conduct business or increased the length of our interviews.
