Set in Lancashire’s Ribble Valley yet only 7 miles away from the motorway network, we were established in 1982 to provide the pipe industry with a practical and safe way of packaging and transporting pipes Working with people from within the industry the “U” Frame was developed, and has become somewhat of an industry standard providing inexpensive throwaway wooden packaging. Through the years our “U” Frame presses have all been exclusively purpose designed and built by the same leading UK hydraulic machinery manufacturer and the five presses we currently have on site are all serviced and maintained by the same company. We always strive to use the best quality timber at the most competitive price, but always from a sustainable source and where possible from UK sawmills or leading UK based importers. Having used and tried many different connector plates we now and for many years only use Mitek connector plates, they have proven to be the best suited to the “U” Frame application and we have forged a strong partnership with them.
